This is our favoured method as it allows us to process your request more efficiently. This can be done on your behalf by a friend or family member. To sign-up please contact reception. - Drop in box:
There are internal and external post boxes in both surgeries. Tick the repeat slip provided with your prescription or at the dispensary counter. - By Post to Wansford Surgery:
Post the repeat slip provided with your prescription indicating the medication you require to the surgery. If posting please remember to use a secure tracked postal service, give at least one weeks’ notice for a first class and longer if using second class.
FROM MONDAY 3RD MARCH OUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTION TELEPHONE NUMBER WILL BE CLOSED. THIS DECISION HAS BEEN MADE TO PREVENT ERRORS OCCURING FROM VERBAL REQUESTS FOR MEDICATION.
When will my prescription be ready?
Prescriptions will be ready for collection in THREE working days (longer by post) if you will be picking the prescription up from the surgery.

Please request repeat prescriptions well in advance of public holidays, etc.
For those that request their prescription be sent to a local pharmacy then the time will be dependent on that pharmacy. Please contact the relevant pharmacy for an indication of the timescale.
If your medication is delivered, you will need to order your repeat medication at least ONE week before they are due to allow the surgery and pharmacy time to process your reorder.
Collection Points
Patients or their representatives can collect their prescription from the surgery.
